Amazing hotel for families, perhaps your best choice if you want to visit a mix of countryside (around Jelgava) and Rīga. The hotel space includes an amusement park(!), access to a river, and a cute restaurant for breakfast and snacks. There is a lot of grass for kids to run around, and a terrace with tables. We went to Latvia in June and it was high mosquito season all over the country. However, we did not get a single mosquito in the rooms for our entire stay, which I found remarkable. The personel was also very welcoming and helpful.
