Should I start by saying that it's the only lodging/simple restaurant place in Pilsrundāle that's close to the palace? So, you know, choice and competition-wise, there's slim pickings! That said, the place isn't bad. Never been impressed by the food, but the rooms you could call authentic. Basically, if you're at the palace, crash there. And if you're hungry, ok to eat. Go over there unless you must? Ehh..
